I’ve been looking at tweaking how my blog works, in an effort to encourage me to write more for it.
On the way I found Carl Schwan’s implementation for adding replies to a post on Mastodon to a static site as comments.
So, I’ve added a very slightly modified version here. With tweaks to work with my version of Hugo and the LoveIt theme.
Comments
With an account on the Fediverse or Mastodon, you can respond to this POST. Since Mastodon is decentralized, you can use your existing account hosted by another Mastodon server or compatible platform if you don't have an account on this one. Known non-private replies are displayed below.
